The Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Monuments and Sites (BLfD) has initiated a project to requalify the dendroarchaeological archive. The aim of this initiative is to ensure the long-term accessibility and scientific usability of our samples.
Through this survey, we seek to assess the current state of archiving practices across public institutions, monument preservation offices, laboratories, universities and related organizations. We are particularly interested in understanding which methods, standards, and procedures are currently in use. Your responses will contribute to a deeper understanding of current practices, support increased collaboration and knowledge sharing, and help us to continually enhance our standards.
